1. Cash on Delivery (COD)
We offer Cash on Delivery for orders within India in select regions. Since our products are made-to-order, a 40% advance payment is required to initiate production. A member of our team will contact you to confirm payment. Once confirmed, COD cannot be canceled or refused; customers who decline confirmed COD orders may be restricted from using the COD option in the future. Please note that COD is not available for urgent orders—standard delivery timelines apply.
2. Order Acceptance & Cancellations
Every order is processed only after confirmation of full or advance payment. Because we create custom garments, orders cannot be canceled, modified, or refunded once placed. We reserve the right to cancel any order due to stock unavailability, payment issues, or incorrect information. In case of cancellation initiated by us, a refund will be issued for payments already received, excluding any bank transfer fees, unless the cancellation is based on a production error or defect.
3. Sizing & Custom Fit
Please carefully review our size chart on each product page before ordering. Standard (PRET) sizes are based on age and height. For a more precise fit, especially for custom outfits, you may provide your child’s exact measurements. We do not charge extra for larger sizes; however, you are responsible for selecting the appropriate size, particularly if your child is taller or has a unique build.
4. Colour Fidelity & Care Instructions
While we take care to present product colors accurately, slight variations may occur due to screen settings or lighting. Because many of our fabrics are hand-dyed or hand-finished, minor differences in dye shades, print alignment, or embroidery placement are normal and add to the uniqueness of each garment.
We recommend dry cleaning only to preserve the color and fabric quality. Please store items away from direct sunlight to prevent fading. Careful handling will minimize color bleeding and maintain the outfit’s longevity.
5. Delivery & Shipping
Our typical delivery timeline ranges from 14 to 28 working days, depending on the design complexity and customization level. If you need expedited shipping, please contact us before placing the order.
Timely delivery depends on the following being provided on schedule:
- Complete payment
- Correct shipping address
- All measurements (for custom orders)
- Prompt communication from your end
We partner with trusted third-party couriers to ship orders. Once shipped, we are not liable for delays, damages, or loss caused during transit, though we will assist with claims where possible.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the site—including images, text, designs, logos, and videos—is the property of Storyteller’s Junior. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or commercial use is prohibited. Our branding elements—including the name, logo, and product designs—are protected by trademark and copyright. Unauthorized use may lead to legal action.
7. Electronic Communications
By using our site and communicating with us via email, WhatsApp, or website forms, you consent to receive official communications from us electronically. These may include order confirmations, updates, invoices, and promotional messages. Such communications are legally considered valid notices.
8. Shipping Policy
We ship throughout India and internationally. Within India, we offer free shipping for orders over ₹2,000. International shipping charges vary depending on destination and order size; shipping rates and policies will be communicated prior to dispatch.
9. Sale & Promotional Items
Products purchased under promotional offers, discounts, or sales are considered final sale. They cannot be returned, exchanged, resized, or refunded under any circumstances. Delivery timelines for sale items may differ and will be communicated at the time of purchase.
10. Limitation of Liability
Storyteller’s Junior is not liable for indirect or consequential damages resulting from use of our products or delays by courier partners. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the relevant product.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Guwahati, Assam.
12. Amendments to Terms
We may update these terms periodically. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Continued use of our site implies acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review them regularly.
